Dr. Sorensen, founder of Yuma Endodontics, was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. After obtaining his undergraduate degree at Idaho State University in 2000, he then attended University of Colorado School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Immediately after receiving a Doctor of Dentistry Degree in 2004, Dr. Sorensen was accepted as an endodontic resident at the University of Iowa.
During his residency, he was the chief endodontic resident from 2005-07, and he contributed to his profession by being a published author. Dr. Sorensen also completed an additional year of residency to be trained in IV Sedation.
Dr. Sorensen is an active member the America Association of Endodontics, Arizona Dental Association and Yuma Dental Study Club.
His wife Susan is from El Centro, Ca where her family still resides. They have 4 beautiful children.
